How do I qualify to be a member?
First you need someone who can sponsor and mentor you as new member. Chapters have different requirements for new members. One must be have either a profession, business, employed and has gainful activities. Here are the basics
- You can email us details about yourself to nom@philjaycees.com
- Your name shall be forwarded to the appropriate chapter who shall contact you for initial orientation
- Normally new recruits go through a series of training program and basic projects.
- When one successfully fulfills all the requirements of the chapter, then one will be inducted as Regular Member.
If no local chapter is present in your town or city, you can create one and JCI Philippines can assist you in organizing it.
- Learn about JCI through this website or to our international website www.jci.cc
- A sponsoring chapter be assigned and can guide you and your group in organizing your new JCI local organization.
- Minimum of 25 members are required and you can have an option making them as all male, all female or mixed/co-ed chapter.
New chapter go through a series of program designed by your sponsoring chapter which may be the following:
- Research, marketing and orientation
- Strategic plans for the year
- Training programs for officers and members
- Documentation process such as your constitution and bylaws
- Charter presentation
