
The Junior Chamber International or more known as JCI which has an affiliate of around 123 countries national organizations worldwide. It is an organization of active citizens aged 18 to 40 years old who are living, communicating taking action and creating impact in our communities.
The organization was founded in October 15, 1915 at the Mission Inn located in St. Louis, Missouri, USA when 32 men joined to lay the foundation for what would become a global movement.
JCI Philippines is one of the National Organization under the Junior Chamber International. Formerly called Philippine Jaycees, Inc. which was established in 1948. It is the first national organization of JCI in the Asia Pacific composed of around 250 Local Organizations nationwide with around 8,000 young members all over the country with different backgrounds and professions who are committed to the path of making postive change.
As JCI members we take initiative to solve local challenges. Not just focus on charity or services but are focused on sustainable impact locally and globally. JCI members are committed to creating impact in our communities, our members are individuals invested in the future of our world. JCI gathers active citizens from all sectors of society. We developed skills, knowledge and understanding to make informed decisions and to take actions. We do this by developing our members to be the leaders of today and in the future.
